Jess came to us by way of The Big Apple and MKE.

Joseph Engle has been working on the fringe of photography since his early twenties when he was attending school in Baltimore for graphic design and rooming with a top notch photography student that first inspired him to get into the field.
Since then Joe has relocated to the frigid midwest and has been focusing on photography that doesn’t need a ton of equipment or a studio. You can see some of his work on jbalt.com and more on flickr.
EXP.LOS.ION was an early collaboration by Joe and Eric to get their work in the eyes of the public, sell some work, and have a good time party atmosphere like Firecracker shows of yore.
It was at Lakeside Gallery and consisted of pretty much every framed piece the two of them had being crammed onto walls to overwhelm the senses of the viewers.
